Environmental Sensor Collection & Analysis

This project employed the use of an embedded microcontroller to interface with a number of environmental sensors.  Data from the sensors was collected and then re-transmitted to a server.  Transmission of the data was done over standard 802.11 wireless protocols to allow for remote locating of the environmental data collection device.   Aspects of this project included the embedded microcontroller circuit design, the firmware running on the microcontroller as well as the server application used to collect and analyze the data from the environmental sensors.  The application was designed in a way to allow the user to access the data either locally, or remotely via a smart phone or other portable intelligent device.
